All CSCS Cards require you to take the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test before you can apply.
This is the same for both renewing a card or applying for the first time.
So what test do you I need to take?
You likely need to take the Operatives test (but it's important to check first).
The Operatives test covers all common trades such as:
Labourers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Painters & Decorators, Groundworkers and many more...
Along with being suitable for the most popular CSCS cards:
Green Labourer CSCS Card, Blue Skilled CSCS Card, Gold Advanced Craft CSCS Card and Red Provisional/Trainee CSCS Cards.
If you're still unsure, you can use the search box further down this page to type your occupation to find the correct test type for you.

- Highways workers should take the Highway Works Test
